  1. I am doing research on a jazz musician who played with Joe Venuti in the early 1970s.

Would you have contact information for the person or persons who have oversight for Mr. Venuti’s estate?

    Thank you.

Thank you for your wonderful book about the unsung heroes of the music industry.
I am thoroughly enjoying it and learning as I read.
May I make a gentle observation.

  3. Hi Richard, Kenny Pore here. I’m a writer producer living in Texas. I’ve recently discovered your talent and sure enjoy what you have done in your career. Don’t know why I’m just now discovering you. We have a lot of mutual friends and have worked with the same musicians. So I hope maybe one day we could hook up and work together. All the best, Kenny

  4. Dear Richard Niles,

On behalf of artist and management I would like to talk to you about your co-produced Younee album ‘True To You’. Please be so kind as to email me your contact details. Yours sincerely, Django J.C. 5. Mr. Niles I’m writing on behalf of my brother. He has acquired an old guitar that I believe once belonged to you. The make and model of the guitar is:

    Guild F30 NT

The guitar was manufactured in the late 60’s.
I’m sure you’ve owned many guitars in your amazing career but, I was wondering
if you possibly recall owning such an instrument and if you might be able to shed any light on its history.

    Respectfully

    J.

    1. Sorry I’m only now getting this message. You would need to send me a photo of the guitar. But I have never owned a Guild.

  6. Richard.

I have just listened again to the 1999 broadcast of Ray Charles in Glasgow.

I wonder if you can supply the personnel of the orchestra as such information is almot impossible to find for archived broadacsts, Great trumpet , vibraphone & guitar solos.

    Cheers

    Michael.
